lets try again... shall we?

Ok... so I've disappeared off my little food blog for a while... Life gets in the way sometimes!!

So a couple updates...

As of Monday, I weighed 171. I have started a daily regimen of vitamins:
2 Acai caps
2 Coral Calcium caps
1 B Complex
2 Gluclosamine & Chondrotin
1 Fish Oil Cap

Ok, so that is a ton of pills to muscle down my throat in the morning... and my pee is now florescent... but I gotta say I've had less sciatica issues this week! Probably the coral calcium (it's magical, I swear). So yeah, starting to eat much less - portion control!! We shall see how the body handles things through the new year!

Unrelated (or completely related, however you want to look at it)... got this quote from a newsletter today and I think I may put it in all my holiday cards... whenever I get them out! Darn that address book! Keeps hiding on me!

Oye

Ok, fell off the tracking bandwagon this past week. It's been a stressful 7 days... Things are getting better emotionally, but now I'm starting to get a cold. :( Stoopid scratchy throat.

So far I've had a cup of tea with ginger honey. We'll see what else I throw in there...

Lunch:
3/4 cup pasta - 210 cal. 1g fat
1/2 cup sauce - 80 cal. 2g fat
1 piece garlic toast - 180 cal. 9g fat

Dinner:
2 patties salisbury steak - 260 cal. 12g fat
rice - 120 cal. .25g fat
wax beans = 0 cal. 0g fat

Total for the day:
1560 cal. 41g fat

Day 1 - Tracking

Who needs a New Years Resolution when you can begin any day of the year?

Breakfast:
Starbucks Carmel Macciato (venti) - 240 cal. 1g fat
Mozzarella Bagel - 340 cal. 9g fat (ouch!)

Lunch:
1/2 Chicken Parm sandwich - no clue... but since it had cheese on it, I'll say 300 cal. 5g fat
20oz Orange Crush - 325 cal. 0g fat

Dinner:
2 Del Taco Tacos - 300 cal. 12g fat
Caffeine free Coke - 140 cal. 0g fat

And the grand total of day 1 tracking caloric intake?
1645 cal. 27g fat

Starting weight?
170lbs

Wow... I must have missed something... that's not too shabby! And as I'm still nursing, thats 500 cal. I can knock off just for feeding my child! Nice!
